An interactive class means that each student receives comments and guidance. All students see the progress of the other students for enlightenment and inspiration.
Break free from blocks and sewing straight seams. Find freedom in curved piecing and learn a precision technique without using quarter-inch seams. This is a design-it-yourself class that will include pre-recorded videos (as needed), but features LIVE interactive sessions to discuss, share ideas, answer questions, and to shape the original curved design quilt that you will create. LIVE sessions will be recorded, posted, and then become available anytime. If you have to miss a session, no problem—you'll have access to it anytime...forever.
The gist of this class is for each person to create an original, curve-pieced, artful quilt—preferably a wall-quilt—that is innovative and aesthetically pleasing. Not only will you learn to design using pieced curves, you'll learn Ricky's easy, no-pins technique to accurately reproduce your design in fabric.
As a bonus, you will explore ways to create transparency in your design. Set your doubts and fears aside. This will be surprisingly easy and you’ll be going crazy for curves going forward.
Students will see what the others are doing, and ideas will be shared— drawing inspiration from each other for ideas and suggestions.Each student will access downloadable PDFs that contain pertinent class information and instructions. Sessions will be presented via Zoom. No additional software is required.ScheduleThere will be LIVE sessions via Zoom on the following dates. Sessions run approximately one hour depending on the needs of the students. Please note that the initial class sessions are spaced more closely and then more time is allotted between classes to allow for sewing progress. This class spans American Thanksgiving, but is adjusted to not be a conflict with the holiday.

WHAT IF I CANNOT ATTEND THE ZOOM AT THE SCHEDULED TIME?
This is not a problem. The Zoom sessions are recorded and will be posted within 2-3 hours of the conclusion of each Zoom session. You can watch them and proceed at your own pace. Even if you cannot participate on the days listed above, you have full access to the lessons forever and can go at your own pace if that is preferred.
The class is presented with LIVE Zoom sessions that are recorded. In the event you cannot attend the LIVE session, the video will be posted for your review. All sessions, information, links, and videos are yours forever. You can review the course anytime, as often as you wish—forever!
