Join Ricky Tims October 25 - November 4, 2022 for this fun, interactive online class to make your own unique Kool Kaleidoscope wall quilt. This super popular project is strip pieced and far easier than it looks. It's a great project for experienced and inexperienced quilters alike.
• Four Sessions spanning 10 days.
• Includes the final Kool Kaleidoscope showcase.
An interactive class means that you get personal comments from Ricky along the way. You also share the experience with all others in the class. You will find inspiration by seeing the progress of everyone who is taking the class.
SCHEDULE (All times Mountain Time Zone)
Tuesday, October 25 - 9AM - 1 hour Zoom
Fabric Overview and the assignment to make strata. You'll have a few days to prepare your pre-homework strata at your convenience. About 5-6 hours will be needed to complete your strata homework before the weekend.
Friday/Saturday, October 28-29 - 9AM - 1 hour Zoom each day.
Please set aside these two days for the class. This process is relatively quick, and the two-days are divided into manageable parts. But you will need 4-5 hours each day (minimum). Of course, some quilters are faster - some are slower. Please just set these days aside for the class. If you are not done on Sunday, the following few days will enable time for completing the body of the quilt and creating borders.
Friday, November 4, 2022 9AM - 1 hour
Final Showcase off everyone's completed quilt tops.
WHAT IF I CANNOT ATTEND THE ZOOM AT THE SCHEDULED TIME?
This is not a problem. The Zoom sessions are recorded and will be posted within 2-3 hours of the conclusion of the Zoom session. You can watch them and proceed at your own pace. Even if you cannot participate on the days listed above, you have full access to the lessons forever and can go at your own pace if that is preferred.
The class is presented with LIVE Zoom sessions that are recorded. In the event you cannot attend the LIVE session, the video will be posted for your review. All sessions, information, links, and videos are yours forever. You can review the course anytime, as often as you wish—forever!
You will use a variety of strips that are cut width of fabric. Pulling your stash with minimal fabric purchasing is recommended. Freezer paper is needed - as is a ruler, pencil, rotary cutter, and mat. Full supply list is available after registration.
