COMING JUNE 2024!
This is a Self-Paced Class. The class materials include the pattern along with several video tutorials. In a self-paced class you can choose the timeframe on your own. The video tutorials and class information never expire. Watch anytime - repeat as often as desired.

For those who work diligently, this is a two-day project. It is perfect for newbies with experience using rotary cutter and ruler.

Convergence quilts are magical, fast, easy, and VERY fun! This course will cover Harmonic Convergence which is the first of four types of Convergence quilt methods created by Ricky Tims. By using only four pieces of fabric (or only one multi-colored fabric), an amazing and magical artful wall quilt emerges.

WARNING: Convergence quilts are known to be addictive. Once you learn the process and start seeing the possibilities, you will want to make several versions. They really are fast and fun, and they are great for both traditional and contemporary quilters who would enjoy making a quick, fun, and artful project. Many quilters have turned their Harmonic Convergence projects into jackets, pillows, and other patchwork items.

The instructions will guide quilters to make a small wall quilt measuring approximately 30"-32", but guidance will be offered for making variations in any size.

Fabric Requirements

The body of this quilt uses four 16” squares of fabric. It is impossible to plan how these quilts will look. They are a mystery until they are cut up and sewn together. By making the quilt, insight is gleaned as to how choices can influence future quilt. Often, a large panel or theme print fabric is a good option to be coordinated with other fabrics.

Borders
Clever, unique, original borders make a huge difference in the look of the completed quilt and there are endless possibilities. You will glean insight and border suggestions from photo inspiration on how to give your quilt a fun and innovative border.
