Friday - Sunday July 31 - August 2 Non-quilters: You are welcome and will have tons of non-quilting enjoyment on this tour. In Birmingham, explore on your own by train to nearby towns or villages. There is plenty to do if the quilt convention is not your cup of tea. The two other quilt specific events will be enjoyable—or— scuttle off on your own and explore the other things that tickle your fancy. |

Leaving Birmingham, we’ll journey south through the English countryside, with unforgettable stops along the way. Marvel at the soaring spire and intricate stone masonry of Salisbury Cathedral, one of England’s greatest medieval treasures, and stand in awe before the ancient wonder of Stonehenge. By late afternoon, we’ll arrive in the elegant city of Bath, our home for the next three nights. |

| Beautiful Bath We’ll spend three delightful nights in Bath, one of England’s most elegant and historic cities. Enjoy a free day to explore the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, the graceful Royal Crescent, and the Jane Austen Centre and Assembly Rooms—each offering a glimpse into the city’s rich heritage. We’ll also take a day trip south to Devon (Exeter) for a special guild gathering with British quilters, featuring a group Show & Tell and lecture by Ricky. We’ll also gather with local quilters for a cultural exchange with Scottish quilters, featuring a second lecture and group show-n-tell with Ricky. And as the perfect finale, experience the world-famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo—an unforgettable evening of pageantry and pride.
